Justice & Work
Research team - ULR 4072
Our team carries out research in the fields of justice and work to understand the social dynamics at work and its link with individual, collective and organizational resources and risks. With regard to justice, our studies focus not only on the judicial institution - covering both civil and criminal justice - but also on public and external security - referring to the police, gendarmerie and army. Regarding work, our research covers a variety of organizations (private and public companies, administrations, hospitals, communities, associations, etc.). In both fields, research can concern professionals as well as the people with whom they may be in contact (e.g., companions, employees or job seekers ; judges, victims and accused for justice). Our research involves a multi-level analysis: individual, inter-individual, group, organizational and social. To support this perspective, we have a wide variety of theoretical and methodological approaches that makes it possible to develop research programs that take into account the current social, economic and political context.
