The electrical energy systems platform is made up of two parts: the first includes equipment for testing ferromagnetic and insulating materials, the second part is dedicated to multi-task microgrid equipment.
For the materials, the objectives are the study of the properties by characterization, the study of ageing and the treatment processes to improve their performances.
The microgrid represents a hybrid electrical network (AC and DC) and allows the development of control laws of converters, energy management with or without storage devices and the dynamics of electrical systems, real-time tests of protective equipment, susceptibility to cyber-attacks and resilience of systems are possible.
