The Compiègne Laboratory of Applied Mathematics (LMAC) is at the heart of the engineering sciences at UTC. This transdisciplinary research unit makes inverse problems its specialty, stochastic processes, numerical analysis, statistics and reliability, as so many issues related to societal issues in contact with industrial and socioeconomic partnerseconomic.
It participates in research actions of an application nature and the development of effective tools of scientific calculation, in particular in the field of modelling and optimization of complex processes and systems.
These two types of activities are carried out in a spirit of complementarity and coherence within the framework of various partnerships, involving internal UTC laboratories as well as external research teams.
