Lille Laboratory of Mechanics (UML)

Research unit - ULR 7512

Description

Our laboratory is specialized in fluid and solid mechanics and is composed of two research teams: (i) Complex Fluid Mechanics and (ii) Mechanics of Materials and Structures. Our main scientific topics are the computational study of complex flows of Newtonian and non-Newtonian fluids, and the study of the mechanical behavior and damage of polymeric and composite materials. Fluid-structure interactions are also studied as a transversal topic.
