Materials Characterization Platform (CERALAB)

Platform

Description

The CERALAB platform brings together a range of analytical and test equipment to perform material characterizations.

Dedicated to the needs of the research carried out at CERAMATHS-DMP, the equipment can be pooled at the regional research level, as is the case of "ANAMAT", a platform for microstructural analysis equipment of the SEM-typeFEG-EDS-WDS, and more generally within the framework of extensive international academic collaborations.

This equipment is also made available to companies as part of the transfer activity developed by CERAMATHS-DMP in support of the economic development actions deployed by the Community of Agglomeration Maubeuge Val de Sambre (CAMVS).

The CERALAB platform is equipped with equipment to perform numerous chemical, structural, microstructural, textural, mechanical and electrical characterizations. It thus makes it possible to provide fine expertise both for research needs but also in relation to industrial issues related to ceramic, metallic, polymer, composite and coating materials.
