Ceramic materials synthesis and development platform (CERAFAB)

Platform

Description

The CERAFAB platform brings together a range of equipment for the synthesis and production of materials mainly ceramic, composites and coatings.

Dedicated to the basic needs of the research carried out at CERAMATHS-DMP, the facilities can be pooled at the regional research level and more generally within the framework of academic collaborations extended internationally.

This equipment is also made available to companies as part of the transfer activity developed by CERAMATHS-DMP in support of the economic development actions deployed by the Communauté d'Agglomération Maubeuge Val de Sambre (CAMVS).

The CERAFAB platform is equipped with equipment to synthesize and shape materials by a variety of processes. It thus makes it possible to provide expertise in manufacturing processes that can meet both research needs but also certain industrial issues related to ceramic, metallic, polymer, composite and coating materials.
